The Hurricanes Alumni Foundation Trust hosts a range of events that bring our whānau together — from golf days and fundraising dinners to networking evenings and player meet-ups.
Each event strengthens our shared bond, celebrates our history, and raises vital funds to continue supporting alumni through our mental health, education, transition, and hardship programmes.
Whether you’re teeing off alongside past legends or sharing stories over dinner, these events are a chance to reconnect with teammates, sponsors, and supporters — and to give back to the wider Hurricanes family.

Hurricanes Alumni Fundraising Golf Day
Wednesday, 4 February 2026 – Shandon Golf Club, Petone
Tee off alongside Hurricanes players, alumni, and supporters in this much-loved annual tournament.
Enjoy 18 holes of Ambrose golf, great company, on-course refreshments, and a post-game meal in the clubhouse.
Limited spots available – entries close 19 December 2025.
Hurricanes Alumni Fundraising Dinner
Friday, 10 April 2026 – Rydges, Wellington
Join us for a special evening marking three decades of Hurricanes rugby.
Hosted by Jason Pine, the night features legendary guests from across the eras, gourmet dining, entertainment, and a live auction to raise funds for alumni support programmes.
Tickets limited to 200 guests.
Taranaki Egmont Honey Half Marathon
SATURday, 18 April 2026 – Egmont Honey HQ, NEW PLYMOUTH
Run alongside Hurricanes Alumni, friends, and whānau through New Plymouth’s stunning foreshore
With 6K, solo, and pairs relay options, it’s a day of fitness, fun, and connection — all with a honey-sweet finish.
Gazley Wellington Marathon
SATURday, 28 JUNE 2026 – SKY STADIUM, WELLINGTON
Run Wellington’s scenic waterfront with the Hurricanes Alumni crew.
Choose from 10K, Half, or Full Marathon distances and enjoy a day of fitness, fun, and Hurricanes spirit.
